just pastthe dunk on teh bad bend police have cordened off part of the road to remove a car wreck

why was i not surprised to see that it was a taxi involved :rolleyes:

yep right in the bend just before the dip and every time some idiot overtakes me there it has been a taxi

i dont think it was a bettys taxi although the entrance to bettys is just after the dip


to be honest i cant be sure what firm because unlike the driver of teh car involved i wasnt acting like a dick on the road and was paying attention to my driving especialy that part of the road ;)

hope some poor passangers havnt sufferd because of this :rolleyes:

I can't belive the way people drive even though it's snowing or there's a risk of ice on the road. People think the more expensive their car is, the more safe they are in cold weather.

Was in a taxi Saturday night and he was driving like a maniac down there, also talking on is mobile for the first part of the journey.

Yeah, you're right Slinky, though we were just glad to get there in one piece, he was a new driver, didn't know how much to charge us and his English wasn't brilliant. Dont normally have a problem with that taxi firm either.

It's like any sevice!! If you're not happy with it complain. You wouldn't go for a nice meal and eat cold food then just get up and leave without saying something.

Not all Taxi drivers are bad drivers, and believe me being the wife of one....they don't exactly have the easiest job in the world. All the Knob heads of society get in taxi's, and it's not the safest job to do either.

BUT I would never hesitate to put a complaint in to the council about a UN-safe taxi or driver.....that's what the system is there for.
At the end of the day you could be saving someone else's life by complaining.

All the Knob heads of society get in taxi's, and it's not the safest job to do either.-- must agree with slinks about who gets in taxis, one punter even offered to MUG me in 1980, and split the cash 50/50, i declined.there are some very good drivers who do the job,and it can be really crap,with everyone who is leaving a pub/club etc saying goodnight to every buggar,whilst you are sat waiting, wouldn,t do that job again for £50 per hour.
