Such a Wonderful Sunset
 

Thankfully, I had my camera and managed to catch this image. The sun was just setting behind the island of La Gomera. It really took my breath away and I wanted to share it with you xx

I think I did it. The sun was setting over the island of Gomera. There I was having my tea time beer and all this turned up.......absolutely beautiful.

I have a new camera and haven't sorted out the pixel thing yet. I can enlarge it on my computer but, to be honest, it doesn't look as good when it's bigger. It's one of the best pics I've ever taken though. Even after passing A level, GCSE and most of City and Guild subjects.

I'll sort the pixel thing out later. Thanks mates. I'm really proud of your comments xx

great pic man..it like almost creates the vision of mankind searching for a time that has been lost .. a time were mankind could look into the sunset without knowing.. or not even having knowledge of himself.. but yet daring to think.

I've only been to Gran Canaria once Rindy, but do tell your friends to take care and think twice before they agree to anything. It's a harsh world out here at times.

Thanks June. Don's a big Hearts of Midlothian supporter, he goes to every match. He's found out the only good team to follow when they move is on Teneriffe, who I think are in the Spanish Premiership, so he plans to fly over to support them for their home games.

They used to be Rindy, but have dropped down a league now. We watch them on tv now and again but, unfortunately, not worth paying out for a flight.
