Yes and I agree but would it be a deciding factor in not emigrating, you could keep upto date via this site:D

Hoping to have the best of both worlds! When we retire, we're planning on buying a beachfront apartment in Lima, Peru (Mrs H's home town) and a small house/bungalow in Accy, as near to the FES as possible. Still not sure about the practicalities of it, or even if we can afford it, but that's the general plan!

Yeah, it sounds the ideal life for me. A few months in the sun, then back to watch Stanley for a few months and so on. I can see me spending more time at our "Accy branch" than Mrs H, though!
