Pressies

For once i'm ahead of myself which is a big change!!!

I bought my nephews birthday pressie today he'll be 4 in April and seeing as he doesnt visit this site i'll tell you what i bought him a big kite from Asda. His dad is going to love me isnt he!!! :D

Anyway how many times have you done this and then changed your mind when it does come to their birthday or forgotten that you've got the pressie and then bought something else and then got home and find you've got 2 pressies there for the same person.

I have done that - normally with my sisters because i see something that would suit them better or ive decided that the pressie i got them i liked it too much to give them!

I've done something similar - bought a present and then forgotten where I've put it and had to buy another!

I buy things in advance, especially if its a bargain, mainly for Ellie though, the downside I often give them to her before her birthday then I need to buy something else, I'm much too soft:)

Not exactly pressies but as soon as xmas is over the spouse is buying next years cards & trimmings in the sales. For the sake of a few ££££'s i dont see the point,it only takes up valuable storage space,& its not as though we have youngsters in the house who would enjoy them.We have enough xmas cards to do us till 2210:D Maybe we can pass them down:D

I got one of the sports kits they look smaller than the other one. Anyway his dad is over 6ft tall so he'll be able to catch him!! :D
