Re: ghost
Yes ive had a few. Used to see a pair of hands creep on to my window ledge when i was a kid for years and saw my grandad once at his funeral and when i was a really young kid i kept looking at the tv when it wasnt on and my mum took a photo of me and you can see a face in it from what she as told me.

|
Re: ghost
Are you watching Most Haunted Live by any chance Vicks? ;) :D
|
Re: ghost
Yes. On water street of all places.
Me and a friend were standing talking and noticed someone walking but it made me feel really, really sick he was definately moving but we didn't know which way, it was like he was walking one way but moving the other. We were both transfixed and then its movement changed it it started to move across the road but my friend claimed it had disappeared, i started sprinting towards it and was about one block away when my friend caught up with me pulling me back saying there was nothing there whatever it was seemed to then walk through a wall |

Re: ghost
LOL! None I'm actually a naturist ;) :D
|
Re: ghost
Did you see that clip of the entity that rose out of the ground and walked past those two girls? Best bit I've seen on 'Most Haunted'. It's usually total rhubarb with Derek Acorah mispronouncing the spooks names.
|
Re: ghost
really so u go bearback lol:)
|
Re: ghost
I didn't it's just on as back ground noice. I only watch it for Yvettes screaming sessions :D

Re: ghost
Define ghost and I might know if I have seen one. :D See people I thought had passed on occasionaly so who knows.
|
Re: ghost
There are different sorts of things which all come under the same general heading of ghost but are totally different.
Three examples are: Spirits of deceased persons who are aware and can communicate. Spirits which have never been people and which cause mayhem (poltergeist). A sort of recording of past events which is replayed in the area where they took place (not able to communicate because the spirit people aren't actually there - similar to a video recording) |
Re: ghost
Well in that case I aint seen any. Whether that is good or not I dont know?
|
Re: ghost
Had several experiences which I've mentioned in other threads, totally believe. Not sure how much I trust Derek Akorah? He seems to rhyme off an awful lot of names before getting to the right one, good to watch though.
|

So what have you seen? It could be a different example that I haven't mentioned. People are forever seeing 'orbs' on Most Haunted - but those are just light reflections in the camera lens. That spooky shadowy figure the other night was very different. |
Re: ghost
Derek Acorah was supposed to be possessed by the spirit of a deceased Roman soldier once in York and he couldn't even pronounce the name properly - the name which the spirit was supposedly telling him.
It's usually good for a laugh though with all the screaming and squealing Yvette does.:D Why do people keep losing the use of their legs? |
Re: ghost
depends how much I,ve had to drink.....whether I see ghosts or not...........
|
Re: ghost
The business I used to run had a ghost called Mr Nobody so I put a clocking in card in the rack for him, he never did turn up to get paid.
|
Re: ghost
OK, dont laugh as this is really bugging me. You all know of my recent RTA and how serious it was. Just before impact i saw two dark figures standing at the point of impact.
Now the Police, Paramedics, Docs etc have all told my parents that in no way should i have survived and that a guardian angel must have protected me on impact. I have also been told that when i was coming around i kept on repeating the words "Northern Belle" .... The only thing we can come up with is that if i did have a spirit with me that was protecting me it is somehow connected with The Orient Express. When i am a lot better i will be delving into family history to see if any deceased family relatives have any links with this. Chrissie |
Re: ghost
Found some info on the Northern Belle ... its a modern train . lol,
http://www.orient-express.com/web/nb...b_heritage.jsp |
Re: ghost
Maybe it wasn't a train, maybe it was some other northern bell(e)? Whereabouts did the accident actually happen? I wonder if it could be location specific?
|
Re: ghost
Willow, it was North Bound M6 between junction 27 and junction 28 before Charnock Richard.
How far is Preston Royal Hospital from there. ?? |
Re: ghost
I'll have to look at a map!
|
Re: ghost
Just remembered I read a book about Accy ages ago and I am sure it mentioned a murder on Water Street years ago;I remember thinking i would check if the house was still standing but it wasn't;I think it was in the block that has been replaced with the newer ones. Am now racking brains for more details !
|
Re: ghost
I wonder why that block was demolished and totally new style built there.
|
Re: ghost
I'm just watching "Homes From Hell" which is usually about shoddy workmanship from builders but this one has ghosts that they've got on video. Very spooky.
|
Re: ghost
We used to live on Lydia St, nr bullough Park - never saw a ghost - but we would get up and all the ashtrays had been filled with water, the bath was full & all the towels wet - the blind in the bedroom was once raised when we had overslept - our, then, 4 yr old daughter asked "Is this house alright because I keep seeing things that aren't there" ......
|
Re: ghost
omigosh! http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...milies/eek.gif A friend of mine lived on Lydia St and she swore the house was haunted!!!!
|
Re: ghost
We've met a few people wih similar experiences - twas never threatening or spooky tho'
|
Re: ghost

Re: ghost

As for haunted houses you can sleep in, is it Chingle Hall in Preston you can pay for an overnight stay, not sure if I've got the name right. |
Re: ghost
I reckon we should have our very own Accyweb ghost hunting. We should stay over in a haunted place. I would deffo be up for that. Not sure Tinks would go to that meet tho........( she's a bit of a mard arse where ghosts are concerned) :D
|
Re: ghost
Ive been told the 2 figures i saw before impact could have been my spirit guides ! How cool, i have a tall skinny one and a short plump one.
|
Re: ghost
I believe in them. I've never seen one (would love to) but I do believe that there is something.

Re: ghost
Phew.
Thank God it was your finger you were pointing!:D |
Re: ghost
I think that we accy web members should stay overnight in one of Accringtons alleged haunted establishments, and raise money for charity ie the air ambulance or the friends of rhyddings park or something.
