Here,s one for ya.
I know it's called Snuffy Harwood, but Has anyone out there got any evidence, that it was made there.
I hear It,s making a come back, Beleive it or not I use to deliver it, on my paper round, many moons ago. |
Re: Here,s one for ya.
I think it's called Snuffy 'arrod because there's supposed to be a snuff box atop the Town Gate clock. I didn't know they ever made the stuff in Harwood.

I never knew snuff could be delivered - but when you think that newsagents sell it I suppose it makes sense.
I remember when I was 15 going on an exchange visit to Germany and the Dad of the family asked if I could bring a particular brand of snuff with me that wasn't available over there. I got it at Woods tobacconists in town and ended up exporting it to Germany for years. |
