Do you find yourself searching
 

My nephews birthday is today he's 18 so ive been trying to find him a birthday card - funny but not too filthy not a soppy one. Anyway I was in Tesco last wednesday had a look there but couldnt see one i liked so i knew i was on the credit union in Haslingden on Thursday and there is a card shop there thats a good one. Couldnt find one there either. Went down Rawtenstall couldnt find one there and went into asda didnt like the ones in there. Ended up down Accy this afternoon and traipsed round and got one. But why is it that in December when i was last looking for birthday cards that i saw loads of 18 ones that i liked but didnt get because i wasnt thinking about his birthday then? Its always the case though isnt it. You always see something when you dont need it and then when you do - you cant find it.

LOL Jen, mines the opposite, I'm spoilt for choice! I hate adult birthdays I always head for the humour cards and all you can hear is me wetting myself laughing shouting "mthead, here look at this one!!!" He usually walks off and leaves me to it :o

Yeah im the same its just that hes 18 so you buy him one with 18 on it. With any luck he aint reading this he'll be in the rhythm station down Rawtenstall having his first legal pint in there!!! lol

Sieze the day...or any thing else when you first see it. As you can bet your bottom dollar it won't be there when you go back.

When I was 18 I insisted all cards and gifts were 18 related. I loved that birthday, it goes down as one of my favourites and I still have everything I received including the decorations on the cake and the tags from flowers :)

Have the same problem with women, The only time I find what I'm looking for is when I wake up.:D
