89.9 tesco
i mentioned in another thread that it would most likely be the case that tesco bumped up their petrol prices to help pay the repair bills of all the cars they broke with faulty petrol down south and other areas
well i just drove in today and they have put up their petrol by 3p a liter so if your passing a station thats cheaper use that instead usualy i fill up in preston when i pick my lad up for 85.6p a liter god knows why it costs more in accy i am refering to tesco petrol station in accy i dont know how much blackburn tesco are charging |
Re: 89.9 tesco
ere in ayrshire i've been in tescos a couple of times and got 3p off tokens for the petrol.unless your paying for our money off.

Re: 89.9 tesco
i realy do try and avoid tescos ever since just before teh budget they stuck 2 p on teh price and them ontop of that teh day of teh budget put on the budget price increase as well
whats more annoying is that if you collect points on your tesco club card you cant get points for petrol at the accy station  |
Re: 89.9 tesco
so do i as mine mainly runs on gas (lpg)

Re: 89.9 tesco
:D Tesco Blackburn 86.9p
|
Re: 89.9 tesco
Its 91.6 up this neck of the woods but it is 89.9 on the way to the slave centre.

Re: 89.9 tesco
U would think the same company would charge the same prices:confused:
|
Re: 89.9 tesco
Well if close to the source it should be cheaper but sadley it dosnt work that way. Got a refinery on the doorstep and its a couple of pence dearer than 10 miles down the road.

blackburn has quite a lot of petrol stations so they cant afford to rip people off as much as they do in accy best value for money with not as much price descrepancies is shell in my opinion but admitidly the one at rising bridge isnt as wel priced as the shell sations in preston and bolton and is a small trek out of teh way |
Re: 89.9 tesco
The Tesco at Accy supplies food etc only, the petrol retailer on site is still Esso, not Tesco, that is why they don't do clubcard points on petrol.

Re: 89.9 tesco
well it should say that you are buying esso clearly on teh pumps then
the whole tesco thing is a right cock up , you get retards blocking the forecourt up in teh clearly markred no parking zone because they are too bone idol to walk a few feet to the cash machine , you get people parking up at the pumps while they take 30 mins to shop and dont even buy petrol causing tail backs onto the main road at a busy junction so even if you dont want to use the tesco you end up getting caught up in traffic jams caused by tesco the stuff in the tesoc part is more expensive anyway so what was teh point of opening a tesco it shoudl have been left as a normal petrol station which was at least 24 hours  |
Re: 89.9 tesco
Are the Esso signs at the front of the forecourt displaying prices not big enough.. & you will always get the idle sos & sos who would love to take their car into the shop rather than walk a few feet. There is supposedto be a new Tesco main store opening somewhere in Accy but this is the new mini convenience setup that all majors are capitalising on-Somerfield at m65 services, Preston N rd etc. Thats why they r making more that BT at its peak.

Re: 89.9 tesco
u know ive never noticed teh esso sighns i guess ime too busy looking at their prices ;)
the new setup is abismal to say teh least there was nothing wrong with the station as it was and liek i said earlier it was 24 hours so basicly all tesco have done for the area is cut jobs and create a ball ache  |
