What a rip off!!!
 

For a change i opened my o2 bill and theres a message in with it:

From 1 May o2 directory enquiries are changing their number and their price is going up to 60p a minute!!!

Prices for 118 500, 118 118 and other directory enquires are going up to £1 a minute!!!

What a rip off. How much does it cost from a normal phone

UK Directory Enquiry Calls
The number for BT's new and improved UK Directory Enquiries service is 118 500. Calls cost 42p per minute plus a connection charge of 24p per call (other network charges may vary).

So in otherwords its cheaper to dial 118 500 from your mobile!!!
(Well until 1st may)

The answer is shillelagh is don't ring them, if you want any 'genie' sims and cards let me know, best deal since sliced bread, 500 free texts plus 10% top up each month. I put £20 on and have still got "21,30 on plus the free texts left. Yes 02.

I know and i do try not to but sometimes you do get caught out and you do have to ring them when you are nowhere near a phone book or the net.

Its probably cheaper to use WAP on your phone to get a number from Yell or BT's internet service

That or ring a mate who gets it off the net and texts it back. :D

I dont use the service anymore, total rip off, tend to use Yell now.
