Sad news

I had a phone call from 'im indoors today to tell me that my female budgie, Juanita, died during the night. He doesn't know why as she seemed fine yesterday. I'm really sad.

If it had been me , I would have gone out and bought a new one that matched and said nowt , and if you said anything , would have said it was the new vitamin tonic that making it chirpy ....... :confused: :confused:

We have also had a death in the family today :( My daughters guinea pig has died ..... I've yet to tell her .... :(

Awww sorry to hear that June, did budgie share a cage? If so keep an eye on her friend, budgies as i found out are very socially sensitive & find it very hard when one goes:(

Yes :( .... He'd got very old in the last week. I found him so I was quite a bit tearful ... and then when I have to tell the lil madame when she comes home later she'll cry so that wil set me off again ..... Ohhh I'm not looking forward to it at all :(

So sad Junetta and Tinkerbelle - the loss of a pet is awful - can't explain it to non pet owners but it's just crappy.

My sympathys, it's not pleasent. I lost a fish yesterday evening (Paynts) - I don't think that I'm going to inform its' name sake!

how old do they last for??? anyone any ideas, cuz they are getting on a bit!!
