Cashman, why did you not do the simple thing of walking into your branch or even sending a letter. Write down your complaint, ask fore proof of teh transaction and tell them that if it isn't sorted to your satisfaction you will take it to the ombudsman. simple and effective.

did and cos it was done on my credit card i was told to use the red phone in the corner and press some silly bloody letter,THEN you talk to a machine.:(

so not a bank account at all, a credit card account. Ask for a dispute form, fill it in and wait for it to be cancelled, job done again!

never said a bank account, said transaction, i did fill a form in and am still waiting for it to be cancelled.:rofl38: rang a few times and told it was being investigated every time, so thought sod it cos it will cost me the bloody £20 in phone calls by the time owt gets sorted.:(

the whole thread was about bank accounts. All you needed to do was fill in teh form, it takes ~3 months to go through teh process, you just sit back and wait, no charges are applied in respect of teh amount

thought the thread was about E-GOLD, never regarded that as a bank account:confused: its just a place you transfer e-gold to @from when you have purchased it from a dealer etc with your bank account.
