well it was 20 week scan day today....
as you may be (or not be ) aware we were going to find out the sex of little peanut today...and before we could ask the nurse if she could find out what sex the baby is ( if possible) it was there bold as brass flashing its bits for all to see:D ....and its a boy !!:banjump: everythings perfectley healthy as to be expected and its currently 18cm in size...was told that the average is between 14-16 cm...and that we may have a big baby:D
so I thought I would tell you all seen as how I am telling everyone else ! just need to think on a name now ! |

Thats wonderful news GG, dont worry about the size I was told that at that stage and it evened out over the term.

congratulations great news!!! i just recently had a little boy he is nearly 5months old now, i was told mine was going to be a big baby? although he wasn't small he wasn't that big i think its what you call average but i wouldn't do it again 7lb 13oz LOL

Awww, congratulations GG, the size doesn't matter at 20 weeks and tends to even out over time. What they are looking at for dates is Bi-parietal diameter (measurement across the head) and head circumference. The length of the baby is neither here nor there at the moment so tell your other half not to worry.:)

the head size all round was fine and normal as was his little arms and legs and heart beat/rate...he was fair moving about the place into the bargain....and as for lewis and finley for names - my sis named her new baby lewis so thats a no no - and the other halfs friend named her new baby finley so thats also a no no !!

One of My Grandson's is called Drew Kyle. His Dad wanted to call him Kenny glad they settled on Kyle. It's a nice name. |
