Re: gypsy's....again
Posted via Mobile Device when the notice to quit is served on the travellers, I think they have to be given 2weeks from that date and then a Court Order can be obtained.

[quote=cashman;694130]exactly what i was advocating earlier.;) just maybe fer once our council could show the rest of the country the way, i can hope anyway.[/quot
Maybe we can just get Peter and Graham to join forces to tackle this problem, but I ain't holding my breathe cashy:rolleyes: |
Re: gypsy's....again
Notice thay have been moved on from the sports centre car park, pity they didn't take the rubbish with them. Must be at least thirty black bags if not more and a load not bagged up. It is so damn annoying as we would ger fined if our rubbish wasn't binned properly:mad:
Also noticed there are three caravans on the littlle car park(corner of Brown Street and Ormerod Street) with notices pinned on the doors, looks like another clean up operation coming up. Just wondering if when they are moved on traffic will flow easier in the area, loads of cars double parked on the factory bottom making traffic movement very restricted. It is so annoying they seem to get away with parking up just where they want:mad: |
Re: gypsy's....again
i noticed a couple the other day, at the bottom of Ormerod Street

Re: gypsy's....again
The ones on the car park ( which is actually a staff car park for the council :D ) at the bottom of Ormerod St have been there on and off for a couple of months. They were cleared off a few weeks ago then came back with different caravans

Re: gypsy's....again
Wonder if anyone had noticed this in Saturday's Daily Mail, from columnist Amanda Platell .. Never actually thought about it this way.
Sorry, no link, will have to type out :- 'An elderly couple from Hampshire were branded racist for suggesting, in a public consultation on local gipsies, that it might be good for community cohesion if the travellers cleaned up the mess they made before moving on. Rita and Norman Brookhouse's views were condemned as discriminatory. What rot. Since littering and fly-tipping are offences if you and I commit them, surely not requiring one group of people to clean up their mess is what's really racist and dicriminatory.' Good point. !! |

Well there are three caravans back on the Sports Centre car park. It was only cleared of rubbish last week:mad:

Re: gypsy's....again
If they choose to park/reside on a carpark, then the vehicles should be towed away and crushed, I would say that they should do it anyway but would be considered discrimination by some eh?
