...which gives you swollen ankles - trust me. :(

A soft boiled egg - not too runny - with a pinch of salt and buttered soldiers is a lovely breakfast. So is a fried egg - yolk splashed with hot fat to form a skin but leave it runny, sausages and bacon, grilled tomatoes, bread and butter. Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, or a mushroom omelet with rolls and butter - yummy.

I'm only allowed 2 eggs a week but I have eggs, one way or another - see above, every day for breakfast on holiday. Please don't tell my doctor. :D

I nip out in my slippers and buy eggs super fresh from the allotment next door. Sometimes they are still warm from the nest box. My favourite way of doing them is to fork/whisk the white and yolk together and pour it onto thick white bread, letting it soak in both sides, then fry it in virgin olive oil

I have heard its called that. I dont care for anything French -ever since I walked into a French hospital and came out 3 days later on a stretcher in an ambulance :) - that is very long story I might get around to telling sometime- but believe me Powerful Pierre was alive and well and was a male nurse.

I too like eggs most ways. Especially 3 or 4 every Sunday for brunch. Overeasy with 3 pieces of toast for dipping. Also have a raw egg or two(straight from the nesting box) or a hard boiled egg every afternoon.

I believe that whole cholesterol thing has been found to not be as accurate as the scare was back 20 years ago. However, it certainly got stuck in a lot of people's minds.

I dont eat eggs unless they are fried and the white cut off and on a sausage butty with tomato ketchup.

Might have something to do with setting fire to some when i was 12 the frying pan went up in flames when i took the lid off and my bro who was sleeping on the settee jumped up and put em out. Either that or it was my dads cooking when mum went away - he made mashed spuds and boiled eggs 4 nights on the trot for tea. The rest of the time it was bacon, egg and fried spuds for tea.
