Paper Chase
 

Hello i go to ernest street baptist church and to raise funds for the church we do all different kind of things. But the main thing every month we do is paper chase! So all you newspaper readers and magazine readers and any kind of readers that has paper involved even old books or maybe paper from your work , like shredded paper , anything with PAPER HEHE! :)

Please bring along to ernest street baptist church on the 16th of june between 8.45am and 10.30am! Please :) Thankyou All!

Iv'e got a white bag full of the stuff but no transport they will be taking it on Wednesday morning, If you want it pm me, if you can collect.

Have loads of old newspapers, dated library books and uni prospectuses if you want them. What day is 16th June and where about in accy is the church?

Hi fc .. sure we can all put aside a little bit of paper that will escape the clutches of the HBC recycling plant .. certainly shredded paper from work as no facility in Hyndburn to accommodate this as yet, HOWEVER, I 'aint giving up my Saturday lie in for anybody, so if an alternative arrangement can be made for drop off, will oblige.

Another condition is if you mention to Ernest Street 'elders' that they will consider washing off that blooming awful mural on the children's nursery side, which to me is one of Church's great blot on the landscape, did they get planning permission for that one ? Doubt it ;)

Thankyou katex will deff mension. You can drop the paper off on a monday night at ernest street baptist church. Between 7.00 and 9.00 :) The girls brigade do there meetings in there so will deff take it off your hands , and remember ! Every Little Helps!

Is it a paper chase like in the Railway Children film? Were one person leaves a trail of paper, and is followed by the rest?

Hope you recycle that which doesn't blow away.

I have no paper, but good luck with it.:)

No garinda I also attend the church occasionally and I don't know why it is called a paper chase but basically all it is is bringing any old paper to the church who can then fill a skip, recycle it and get money to go towards church re-development, as well as the Boys and Girl's Brigades which currently reside there.:)

Well, hope you correct about shredded paper being acceptable FC .. already got a 'huge' bag in the boot of my car and held back my paper re-cycling bag from HBC... will I get my wings in heaven ? :angel:

Mission accomplished .. hope you have a successful day. Did split one of the shredded paper bags as I took it out of the car .. quite ironic I suppose, but the little breeze that was present blew it away :D

Got bossed by a senior gentleman who told me to leave it in the backroom, bless :D

Hello , just a quick reminder that as its christmas im sure alot of paper and cardboard will be used and normally just thrown away however if you could keep this and recycle this at Ernest Street Church`s paper chase we would be very greatfull! Im guessing it will be on the 5th of January (will follow this up) so get collecting and saving and help a local churchs funds! :):):)

If i had a car/van/vehicle id go round on recycling day and just "borrow" some thats been left out for HBC.

Right the paper chase is on the 19TH JANUARY ! :) Bring all your paper and cardboard please! Early in the morning though about 9 - 10 at ernest street church

I also attend this paper chase and could pick the paper sack up if you cannot take it Willow. And for anyone else, it is a worthwhile cause as the money raised helps the Church and the 1st Church Boy's and Girl's Brigades who operate from the building.

We no longer have the wrapping paper. Busman took it to the tip when he was taking some other stuff - put it in the recycling there. :(
