You actually think that the Chinese have the same/similar values as Western Europeans ? anything that has a pulse is fair game for the cooking pot in Asian culture , you think that Islam philosophy is alien , just try studying Zen and Buddism ...........makes the Sunnis seem like Methodists

8 years ago i got tickets to take kids to a circus on arriving we walked around and it was plain to see how bad the animals were kept so i asked for a refund they didnt give me my money back so i had to try and explain to my two kids why we left without seeing the circus took them to blackpool instead what an expensive day out that was.

Considering how they treat the own people then are we really suprised that this happens to animals?
Not exactly condusive to a rollicking good Olympics when all this is going on yet people will turn a blind eye just so the boat aint rocked. Ironic really that China has more global power than people imagine and will ignore any protests as with a stroke of a pen can cause serious pain in monetary circles

It is disgusting. Personally I blame God. Fancy creating sick animals such as tigers that tear living animals to bits for food. Why can't they nip down to McDonald's like the rest of us   :D :D

its the chinese not God who is committting these insane acts against these poor animals. these people have one life and choose to be despotic towards the animals- they are revealing their true identities. i think its rather the absence of belief in God that makes these people think they can get away with behaving in any manner they wish. they obviously think they can get away with this but they wont. the worst part of that film was hearing the cow moaning in agony and the crazed monkey.

Re: china's zoos:

the film also said that the chinese middle class were able to purchase these cows due to their newly created wealth. im going to try to boycott chinese imported products-if thats where my moneys going i dont want to be a part of it. i dont know what it is about the chinese but they have a dreadful attitude towards animals. people on here should get with the animals asia foundation who do a brilliant job in trying to rescue these poor animals

hang on a minute in islam one isnt even allowed to harm an insect. the only reason someone can take the life of an animal is if for self defence against it or for food of permitted animals. dont compare muslims to the chinese. in fact the only chinese who are decent to animals and dont eat dogs and cats reside in a province which is has a significant muslim chinese poplulation. i think it borders with india

spugs hit it right on the head. they have NO RESPECT for their own people as anyone who watched Paul Merton in china monday night will testify, they are demolishing thousands of homes of the poor to make bejing look respectable for the olympics, and making the people homeless, so what chance these people will give a rats about animals?:(
