I think we've had this conversation before Mez... there isn't much that worries me....except for the build up to holidays!!! It drives me mad...

what to take, what not to forget...what I can do without..passport, tickets...check, check and check again...sends me mental and I'm doing it at least twice this year!! :D

Hope you have a fab time in bulgaria :)

I've got them but never risked using them for holiday packing - what happens if you can t get access to a vac when you are packing to come home?

You have to get the roll up ones Margaret... even if you don't pack your clean clothes they are idea for packing the dirty ones for when you come home... thus leaving more room in your case ( don't get the cheap ones though) argos do them and also willkinson ....

Spent all afternoon thumbing through brochures, and have found the perfect place, and will scream if it's unavailable.

Love travelling, just hate the p*ssed up, Brits on Tour, you sometimes see at the airport.

Have a great holiday Mez.:)

Hey Mez , all you will need for a holiday on the Black sea is your thong and sunscreen , laid back eastern europeans and Germans :D:D

Re: It's That Time Again

heh, we have a 'holiday list' that has everything that we think we might need from washing line to passports. eachtime we go away it gets ticked off as stuff is packed (or if we decide we don't need that item this time). If we think of anything whilst on hols we add it to the list when we get back.

I also find it strange when people start packing weeks in advance. I'm happy to do it the night before with just a quick check a few days prior to make sure we have everything we need.

That sounds exactly like me Ian - I have to have a list or I know I'd end up leaving behind something vitally important but also I do not pack until the day before. Because I have my list I find packing is very quick and easy. My problem is deciding what not to put on the list because I'd take far too much if I wasn't strict with myself.

We're going to Holland & Belgium, but we're driving, so no worries about weight, its just what we can fit in the car!

Re: It's That Time Again

I believe the whole packing thing is much more "intense" for females. On my recent trip I pack slimly and had all I needed, even considering the cool weather. I love layering my clothes if I need extra warmth.

When Annie and I travelled over there last year, we must have had 4 times as much "stuff!"

Have fun momma Mez. And Susan, be good. Uncle Brian is watching from his kiwi bird!:p
