At first I thought that the 2 legged animals we have had been found a new home away from normal society, though sadly not to be. :(

Having looked at the link it was an eyeopener to say the least. Yet as the clip explains its the pleasure of the tourists so would only possibly change if these money laden people didnt go. Tigers passing pawprint to pawprint chimps that are to be kind disturbed not ideal but as money rules changes will not happen until the middle classes sre educated to the suffering of the animals. A live target attacked by a tiger is killed as quick as possible as with all big cats for safety more than anything else besides tigers packing like lions is not a wilderness norm just "entertainment".

They have such a different view of animals. Look at the way bears are 'milked' for their bile which is supposedly a medicine. Perhaps it's no different to them from our society pouring chemicals into rabbits eyes or making beagles smoke cigarettes. Except we don't do it as entertainment. How do we change people's attitudes? :(

Personally I dont think we can. Its a cultural thing as well as different views as with all countries. What is acceptable in one isnt in another whether its China's zoo animals, Japanese whaling Canadian seal culls Scottish farmed salmon Battery hens the list is endless. Though I am not happy with what I saw its their culture their way the same as we may have habits that horrify others. Eating pork for example.
