Actually I have seen wild deer, several times, up our very own Coppice. I used to take the dog for early walks (about 5am) up there and never failed to see deer at that time of the morning.:D |

I think they say 3 or 4 a week, it's because of the cholesterol. I don't know how we managed to live past middle age, 50 years ago. All those eggs, it's a wonder people weren't dropping like flies. |
Re: Do NOT Go To Work On An Egg
Thread wander back to deer; my dad saw one on the pitch at Accy CC just a few weeks ago.- not a huge one but big enough;it ran off towards the phone mast and disappeared in the direction of the railway.

I had my annual coronary check-up recently that included taking at least an armful of blood after starving and going thirsty except for water - ugh! (they call it fasting) for 16 hours and my cholesterol reading was 3.4. No doubt down to my daily intake of Simvastatin. I eat between 4 and 6 eggs every week, fried (with fried dry cure bacon butties), scrambled (on toast buttered with real butter) or soft boiled. So nanny can bleat all she likes because I will continue to ignore her and eat everything in moderation. Including strawberries and double cream, a selection of cream cakes plus red meat, home made chips done in beef dripping etc. |
