Question to Moderators ......I've just posted a new thread about honour killings and the war in the mid-east and there has been one reply (Ber999T) , but I noticed below the reply there was a sponsored link for "John McCain for President" do these things 'pop-up' automatically ? no way can I believe a US Presidential candidate is paying for time on the 'Accy-web' ........do certain key words cause these ads to 'pop-up' ?
thanks

I am not a mod but I can possibly throw some light on the question.
The Ads are generated by Google in your case Google US.
You will probably get US generated links which are nothing to do with Accy-web.
