Is This Justice?
A while back some of you may remember that I was assaulted on Church Street. Well, I received a letter from the Lancashire Constabulary this morning explaining that one of the three lads that had attacked me has received a final warning for ABH. It seems that because he is under 18 years old, the justice system prefers to keep them from going to court.
What an absolute joke. http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...nks-31167.html  |
Re: Is This Justice?
No, it isn't justice but sadly it's typical of the way things are these days. :(

No wonder the crime rate among the younger ones is rising when this kind of action is all they take. Another notch on this little tubes belt which will increase his cred with his pals. I hope the others cop it big time and because the other is "immune" the full weight of the law (doubt it though) inc what the missing party would have got then they can sort him out.

Re: Is This Justice?
Oooo I so want to comment something of a personal experience that relates to this but can't  and no it's nothing directly relating to accyjay's assault...I'd have been fuming too

What an absolute joke. I was assualted last year on Church St.(Blackburn) on my return from a trip to the races at York last June.(Under the ramp for the car park at Debenhams) Managed to evade a serious injury(due to my previous experience Boxing) and was that stunned I didn't react quick enough to deal out retribution (Sign that I might be getting on a bit !!) Didn't bother reporting it as: 1) wasn't injured that bad, 2) Knew that the plod wouldn't have taken it seriously . The punk / Arsehole who did it didn't have the guts to hang around. If he had, he'd have paid my personal consequense. The Law would have probably just slapped him on the wrists and let him off with a caution and charged me with G.B.H. !!!!:mad: |
Re: Is This Justice?
Disgraceful.
The law in this case, is an ass. Is anybody else being charged with the assault? |
Re: Is This Justice?
find out where he lives or hangs out and get some of the lads on here to pay him a visit, an eye for an eye ( which you could have lost) or just ask to borrow a baseball bat and a potato sack.

I would like to know how this can happen, & why our local Councillors aren't voicing their opinions about the subject. Is it a case of Labour keeping the crime figures down? How can any MP justify the fact that an under 18 year old is allowed to commit ABH twice before s/he has to go before the courts? |
