It’s just getting too much now. These bastards should be dealt with in the strongest terms with public shaming, four figure fines and heavy sentencing. Where life is taken as a result of these attacks either to crews or those in their care then there should be a minimum sentence of 20 years or an alternative sentence of 5 years front line Military Service.
Personally I think the crew should have drove over the little bastards and then ask them if they would like to ring for an Ambulance. |

Any idiots that attack any of the emergency services should be locked up for a long time.

I remember when I was younger there were two sorts of scifi futuristic films. There were the ones where it was all chrome and clean and super hi-tech with people living wonderful lives with all mod cons etc and then there were the bleak post nuclear scenario types with people living like wild beasts and scavenging for scraps, with no clean water and living in filth and squalour.
I used to think the former was how it was all going to be and that the latter was cynical gloomy nonsense. How wrong I was. We seem to be heading rapidly towards the latter without even having had the nuclear holocaust. How on earth could we ever have come to this, where an ambulance crew have to abandon a man whose life they are trying to save because some unruly yobbos who no doubt 'know their rights' force them away by pelting them with missiles? |

Its awful that. How could they do that. One day it could be them in an ambulance and some kids do that and stop the paramedics treating them. Wonder how they would like it. What if the person they were treating was their granddad or gran - or another member of their family? Would they still stand there and chuck stones or would they be telling them to hurry up and get to the hospital? Have you ever been attacked ber or any round here?

What an awful thing to happen. And the article said that attacks like this are on the increase. What on earth would cause anyone to "go on attack" against an emergency vehicle? Is this some kind of warped game, challenge to them?
Boy this gets me dander up and it's too early in the morning for that. My sympathese to the folks of England for this latest form of terror. How long will it take American hoodlums from doing some thing even more insane? Oh wait, I'm sure they already have.:( Brian |
