Right folks...
my other half is nearly 8 months pregnant..and she has picked 3 boy names..she likes them all I cant decide which on any of them so I need some help...so I am letting you dodgy lot help name my baby boy when he is born in september...
the names are as follows..

1. Calum (one 'L')
2. Connor
3. Ciaran

please vote on the one you would chose and it will go along way to making my mind up..

I like Calum, but then it does matter which surname it has to go with and the initials it makes.

Ok it says i voted on this poll - and someone sitting next to me has just said bet thats confused you - in fact i like them all and wouldnt have been able to choose. Connor was spugs choice!!! lol He voted in my name yesterday.

trust me - its a boy , we went for the 20 week scan and when the nurse put the thing on her belly the sight on the screen was this baby lying there like a porn star making it very clear he was a boy - no doubts about it:D:D..bascially letting everyone have a good look...so at least I know he aint shy !
all the nurse could say was ' well I am glad you wanted to know the sex '
if its a girl I will wear a dress and walk up and down accy town centre promoting this site with a sandwich board:cool:

and to whoever it was who left me negative karma regarding this thread ( I wonder who it was..:rolleyes:)...believe it or not I have spoken about this to my other half at great lengths and the names on the poll are the ones we have decided on, I am putting it to the people on the board as to whats the favourite of the 3 we like to try and sway my decision...so less of the sad lad if you dont mind...and I dont seem to recall you left your name...wonder why??...your the sad lad !

Oh, heck don't ask me to do that.

When we were trying to name Zack, it got to the Sunday before he was born (knowing that we were booked in for a section on the Wednesday) and we said that we absolutely had to make a decision. It had taken us the last six months to get to the short list of five and as it happens Zachary wasn't even on that list at that point. :)

I do know the top five included

Carter and Ethan, but I can't remember the other ones.

neither name i would pick im afraid, but to choose i would have to go with callum and conner!,
ciaran i dont like at all, maybe because i know a few ciarans and they are right little gits,, the type of kid that just irritates the crap out of ya!!

Don't bother with any of these names...they may sound trendy now, but in twenty years time they will be the equivalent of Herbert or Doris. Have a read of this, from today's Times:

I know 2 Callums, a Calum, a Connor and a Conor, a Ciaran, 2 Kierans and a Kieron. Give your boy a name people won't spell wrong (mind you, I thought I did with Alan but some people think it should have a double L).

On the other hand you could be really "exotic" and choose, say, John or Michael or Robert. These days they're really different. :D
