INFUSION ......Blackpool!!!!!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOW!!! what a ride. Went on it 4 times yesterday and it's the best ride by far hehehe............ I'm well addicted!!

Do you reckon people will sponsor me to stay on it all day :D:D I will gladly do it :D

Has anyone been on it?? if not why not?? :D

Does it go round and round or up and down or undulating ? Deciding factor .. round and rounds turn me green, up and down..stomach meets throat, undulating .. yes, better than .......... ?

love them kind of rides,went on the Big One for me 50th, will probably have a crack at that next year for 60th,see if i can still teck it.:D

The problem with Blackpool is that they do the better rides but I can't stand the place enough to tempt me there :D

Did the Pepsi Max first day it opened and several times since. Suppose I will have to make some effort to get there now and try this new one out. :)

Well yeah It's a good idea to go on it when your pregnant. The restraining seat belt and over head bar were quite tight on my tummy, and I'm only a mere size 8, so the pressure on your tummy when pregnant would be very dangerous and not very worth it for a 5 minute ride..........

I've been on it 8 times since it came to Blackpool, and I couldn't count how many times I went on it when it was The Traumatizer at Pleasure Land - Southport. Excellent ride.

Although I still think that Valhalla is the best ride at Pleasure Beach.

I've been on the Pepsi Big One and I liked it.I would go on the Infusion if I went again.I couldn't go on the Bling one though.I think that would make me feel very very ill.

Bling is quite tame actually!! I thought it looked really good, but when you get on it, it's not that scary!! The only ride that craps me up is the first drop on pepsi max!! other than that, i'll have a go at anything!

I agree Bling isn't as bad as it looks. Its really good, I can't stop laughing when I go on it.

I love the first drop on Big One. It took me a good few goes on it to pluck up the courage to let go, but now it hands up all the way!!

If you fancy getting soaked in stagnant water then "Valhalla" really is the ride for you. Totally overrated. You have more chance of catching summat nasty from that ride than any other "ride" you might get in the cess pit that is Blackpool. It's a dump.:cool:

Sorry to hear that; I used to love Blackpool: Pablo's ice cream, the donkeys, Tower Circus with Charlie Carrolli and Paul ... but all that is gone for good. Ah well, s**t happens.:mad:

It's not so bad Eric.It was accused of being dirty a few years ago but has cleaned up a lot since.All the old favourites such as the ice cream,the donkeys and the Tower circus are still going strong.My two kids love a day out at Blackpool and I love taking them:)

According to todays Telegraph it's been voted the worst family holiday place in Britain. Thats a tough vote to win given most of it is a rip off :)

:rofl38: yehhh done that loads of times used to go all the time doing just that, i was dangerous on a bike but u wont get me on those silly roller coaster doofers at all LOL:D

Was there the other week when Ianto's sister was over from OZ, was really surprised how dirty it looked. There was hardly anything open on the front, but at least Marion enjoyed it [she said she wanted to relive her youth]. We spent most of the day in the tower, which we enjoyed even went to the circus it was brilliant. Can't say that I would like to go for a week, but we had a great day:D

Fancy that.I must admit I have no experience of Blackpool's hotels as I've never been on holiday there since I was a little girl.I only ever take my kids there on day trips.

OMG Spugg!!! That has just brought back some really good memories for me!!!

Me and my mate used to come down whinney Hill on our bikes..... it had breaks (( not that we used them much )) and we used to let go of the handle bars and see who dared to ride right to the bottom not holding on :eek::eek:..... and to get really daring, if the lights were on green when we reached the bottom we used to go straight threw them aswell :eek::eek::eek:

i would bloody kill my kids if I caught them doing something like that :(


But bloody hell it was fun :D:D:D

The other one was down Dill Hall Lane and trying to go round Manor Gardens not through it as I had a habit of doing. :mad: Then they spoiled the fun and put the new road and lights there. :( If my hooli did that I would be freaking and jumping up and down like i was walking on hot sand. ;)

i used to like that ice blast or playstation or whatever they're calling it now if it's still there. that ride that went straight up. was really good if you got on the right side because when it got to the top you could see all the pier and the sea. great view.

Yeah its called tango Ice Blast!!

I have been dying to go on that for years!! Finally went on it, and I was disappointed!!

I do think i went about everything the wrong way though!! I went on the best ride first (( Infusion )) then everything after that seemed weedy :( I think I should have saved it til last to go on that, then maybe all the other rides would have got my heart pumping a bit lol
