Very Clever!?!
Looking at the pictures taken in the pubs every week in the Observer. This week in The Hargreaves. Now I don't know whose stupidity it was but theres someone on one of the pictures that is on Pubwatch!!
1. Stupid lad for having his picture taken? 2. Stupid lad for going in a pub across from the Police Station? 3. Stupid Pub for letting him in? Whats the point in it if your going to let people in that are on it, and then to be silly enough to have your picture taken!? |

This is the councils description:
Under the pub watch scheme, anyone who has used violence in any pub and club watch scheme member’s premises can be banned from all pubs in Hyndburn, and as scheme membership grows, either voluntarily or by the Council attaching it as a condition of a licence, it is a strong deterrent to would be offenders to know that they will be banned from every member pub for up to 5 years. |

That makes sense ... kinda like a bail or probation condition. Used to have something similar in Canada, called the Indian List ... but it is a great ideal, some people should wear the legend "Instant A**hole, Just Add Alcohol".
