what product or service do you think is price fixed by all companies or sevices in east lancs...ill tell you one skips every skip company i phoned up in the area had all the same prices . out of curiosity i phoned one out of the area and it was £8 pound cheaper..or another one school uniforms

All the skip hire firms sound a bit thick.

If it was my company I'd undercut all the others, especially if there's at least an eight pound profit margin, according to the firm outside the area, who will also be making a profit.

Even if it was just a pound cheaper, I bet most of the people who phone around would chose the cheapest.

In retail, all the large companies employ spies, or secret shoppers, as they are more commonly called.

Besides checking on the level of service in their own stores, one of their other jobs is to check the price of their competitors.

macdonald up here is different,in 1 you pay £1.99 for a happy meal,in another you pay£2.25 for a happy meal only 10 miles apart but different prices,and none are at service stations,and in southampton its £2.29 for a happy meal
