That article says only 4 cups of instant per day recommended
Gosh I drink that much in the first 2 hours of every day :eek:
and sometimes have a double expresso after dinner.

I've just had my 2nd mug of the day. Normally i drink 4 brews just talking in the chatroom at night/spug on MSN. No hope for me then is there?:D

Well techincally it wasn't fourteen cups of espresso, it was 7 doubles.

Still, you've got to be pretty thick to think that taking in that much caffeine will do you no harm.

I like expresso but wouldnt drink that much but then I do like my coffee. As for recommendations on safe limits its different for everyone.:p

I could happily as I like strong coffee, expresso in particular, my problem is that I like it extremely sweet so I'm likely to have my teeth drop out first :D

Only do 8 cups a day ... Tim Horton's coffee (only in Canada, eh) x-large 4x4.

But for the first cup of the day, Lipton's tea, a 3 bagger, on the flush, with the Kingston Whig-Standard, and my only fag of the day, Paradise!

Why is it that what we enjoy and is popular is always being attacked? I prefer coffee to tea but will drink tea. Besides if you drink enough water it shouldnt have any real harm on the body besides which how many on here need a coffee to get going in the morning??? I dont mind safe limit sugestions but everyone is different so they need to choose but based on proper info not just because a minister etc says so.

Everything to excess is bad for you.

There was a woman who died the other year because she ate nothing but carrots.

Mind you, she looked a lovely healthy colour in her coffin.:D

I hope excess aint bad for some things otherwise a good wheen of us might be in trouble. ;)

As for rabbit lady why carrots???? Thats a bit extreme for a veggie diet. :eek:
She would have no trouble seeing in the dark if what was told to night piolets in WWII was remotely true. :D

god only 14 cups - some people have no staying power lol.

i drink more than that on an overnighter ( and a few cans of red bull for good measure) - well somethings gotta keep me going. :D

According to this you can have 7 cups of coffee a day and to overdose on coffee it would take a normal person 200 cups!!!! That would mean taking it intravenously wouldnt it? You'd be running to the loo all day!!!!
