went up to Edinburgh today and it was lovely, the Festival was on and they had some great street entertainers, i got handed 28 flyers by all the students on the royal mile,it was jam packed but it was a wonderful day :D

Sounds good, will have to try and get up sometime. I could even get a few nights bed, breakfast and evening meal thrown in at my brothers. Was there anything about night entertainment in the flyers?:)

just having a look now, there's stand up comedy spoof on psychic mediums on this month 2nd-26th of august in the green room, wherever that is lol

the rest are mainly during the day, there's a lot of theatre work going on by lots of students up there

One of my grandsons is at Edinburgh Uni and is working 60 hours a week at the moment -can't remember quite what - restaurant/bar work I think - the festival is providing him earnings which is better than heaping up student debts.
