Neighourhood Walkabout

got a flyer today that says the Hyndburn Neighbourhood Team will be having a walkabout on your street on Weds 5th September, purpose is to look for issues with your area such as street lighting,refuse,anti-social behaviour, etc. Starting on Monk street at 10-00am, i look forward to this as a start.but it begs the question. How can people who work for a living make use of this service, would have thought they would/could have said a few hours then, and then a couple of hours say 18-00 - 20-00, to enable Taxpayers to contribute.;)

Are they actually hoping to talk to people or just look for litter?

Well if you can take the oppurtunity they are offering, there will be people who don't and then moan about it (I don't mean workers) just folk who can't be bothered:confused:

any evening work would be classed as overtime
hbc wont pay that
plus they may well get to many questions
of an answerable nature
