It was on Location, Location, Location last year.

It wouldn't bother me living in an old church, but not my cup of tea.

Re: So now that its finished would you?

yeah i'd be fine living in an old church but not one with a graveyard there

or one so close to such a busy road

it doestn have much of a garden either

i wonder that ferrari thats always parked there - if that comes with the church - i'd be persuaded then!

I couldn't live with the church architecture and I bet it's not easy to heat. I wouldn't mind the location, though, quiet neighbours. :)

looks lovely inside but for nearly £900k I would not want to live across the road from a mcdonalds, garage and a little chef...and a busy road

for that money I want a few acres of fields between me and the next person...

its all about the location...

Wouldn't it be daisies that they'd be pushing up? :D

No, it doesn't float my boat.......I wouldn't like to live in a converted church.....and I'm not keen on the location.

Re: So now that its finished would you?

I once lived at the top of Dill Hall overlooking the cemetary.
I was told that if I saw patches of mist there, it wasn't spooks - just due to gases seeping up as the bodies rotted

You'd have my mum and dad as your neighbours!!

All very nice but the dining area reminds me a little bit too much of when the curtains close and the coffin disappears, maybe it's the curtains themselves.
My Grandparents where the first couple to be married in the Church.

Re: So now that its finished would you?

Hang on, lets look at this again, It looks lovely from teh pictures but.......

no garage for your collection of cars....

Small amount of parking for your mates porsches, etc, all outside, no cover or garage (which cars like this need as terms of insurance)

nearest restaurant is as quoted a Maccy D's

Opposite a 24 Hours Truck stop

On a VERY busy road

No en Suite

Curtain between you and teh living space

RISING BRIDGE!!! Sorry Jen but is not exactly a posh postcode

No garden at ALL to impress people(i.e. no garden parties, BBQs etc)

£900 K??? I reckon if he's lucky £300K-450K will seal it and that pushing it to an extreme. Wrong place, wrong amenities, etc

Re: So now that its finished would you?

At first glance it looks good - but it's all been said, busy road, opposite Little Chef, McDonalds and a petrol station, no garden, no garage, no on road parking, surrounded by graves which still have people visiting them because the last burial wasn't all that long ago. £900k? They must be living in dreamland.

shillelagh 01-09-2007 23:20

Re: So now that its finished would you?

The churchyard is still open for burials - if you have a family grave in there with room for you or parents etc then you can still be buried there. It's still open because i know there are a few people who have their wife/husband buried in there and they are the only ones in that grave and its for two people. Plus my mum was buried in there last year in our grave but that grave is closed now.

Entwisi my postcode is BB5 the same as yours is that not posh enough?:D:D:D
