Banned phrases

BBC NEWS | World | Europe | Russian mayor bans excuse making

Could you imagine our chief executives or the leader of the councils banning phrases like that? How many times have you rang the council up and heard them? Oh theyre on their lunch break can i get them to ring you back when they come back?

There are a few more I'd like to see banned - for example "It's in the post." and "We are currently looking into it."
