It's a green plastic sack like a green bin bag,.
If you put yer textiles out in a black bag and stick a note on it saying "textiles" they will take it away and leave you a new green sack for next time !

We just got ours with all our other recycling gubbins. I think you would be able to get one from Accy Town Hall if you haven't got one.:)
When the bag gets taken away on collection day they will leave you a replacement.

I've just had a look at mine for you. The things you put in go towards helping the North West Air Ambulance service. Items you can put in are:

Clothing, bedding, household linen, paired shoes and leather.

The goods are collected by the council then sorted, baled and recycled. 75p of every pound generated from the sale of your textiles goes directly to North West Air Ambulance.:)

Oh and I forgot to say that they ask you to tie the bag up when you put it outside as the goods you put in it are no good if they get wet through.

Thanks for that, didn't even know they existed. Now that I do and more importantly that it will actually help the North West Air Ambulance I will certainly be getting one!:)

You should have got a green bag when the blue boxes were first handed out
