If they want to sell some items at a loss why should anyone be able to tell them not too? It is their goods so they should be able to sell them for what they like. If you don't like the price go somewhere else.

A little example.
I have just bought a new fuel pump for my car
Ford price for the Bosch pump £470
Andrew Page the Bosch agent in Blackburns price £100 for the exact Bosch part number.
Who do you think I bought it from?

Is Andrew Page selling it for less than they bought it?

We should tell supermarkets they can't do it, because its abusing their monopoly to put other stores out of business. What happens when there are no small shops, just supermarkets exist, and they're run mostly by self service tills? Unemployment rises because theres less people working at supermarkets, and less people in jobs because they had to close their smaller business down.

It will be a sad state of affairs when the only place you can get a job is working in a shop.
What this Country needs is its industry back. We need a Government that is interested in THIS Country, not one that is so busy trying to reduce CO2 output to save the world that it kills Britain. if the biggest nations in the world don't care about CO2 and global warming how can one of the Worlds smallest Countries make a difference.

Thats a very naive and ignorant approach to a very real environmental problem.

I heard that this idea has now been dropped. Has anybody else heard anything?
