'Naughty Spot'
Not having English telly for six years, I'm still a bit enthralled with programmes at the push of a button and gave 'Supernanny' a go tonight. I've never watched it before and it crossed my mind that the theories might help with training an unruly puppy.
Clio has run riot for over three weeks now and a smacked bum doesn't seem to be working. I thought I'd give this 'naughty spot' a go, after all if it works with kids.............. Every time she misbehaved I put her on some newspaper and told her to sit. When she moved I put her back. It didn't take too long for her to realise what the routine was and she sat and stayed. Would you believe that within two hours she knows how to sit and stay, knows her name and is now fast asleep in her own bed? |

Re: 'Naughty Spot'
Super Nanny is brilliant it is the parent's who don't listen to her and follow through with the threats. As you have found June it doesn't take long for the message to sink in with Clio, now she knows who is boss it should be easy- peasy, keep up the good work and life should be a breeze.

Re: 'Naughty Spot'
not sure if its the same program which we get , an upper class English nanny spends time with American familys and attempts to teach American brats (and their parents) the basics , how to hold a knife and fork, words like please and thankyou ,
