Numpties new sport.

Well I see the young cabbage heads of Accrington have found a new pastime ;setting fire alarms off in a local Community Centre.Apparently they creep in set the alarm off then ride away on their bikes.
How long before fatalities occur due to the Brigade being lured away by these thoughtless *******!

i had not realised we only had two tenders at
accrington station it would waken these kids up
if god forbid their own house whent up in flames
due to a false call out if they get caught doing this stupid
act theyll only get a free holiday to jamaica or hands slapped
daft i call it

It's not just fires, the RTA attendance must also be affected.Who knows perhaps one day it could be the aforementioned bikers!

Has the cctv on Church street not recored them or are they asleep at greenbank cctv centre

Re: Numpties new sport.

Would have thought they would have cctv at the New Era, these idiots wanting catching, but then again what would the punishment be?

Lampman 13-09-2007 16:53

Re: Numpties new sport.

A good punishment would be to have them pay for the callout costs.Plus let them see some footage of victims of RTA/housefires.But then again the worthless little ****** would probably view this as entertainment!

BERNADETTE 13-09-2007 17:03

Re: Numpties new sport.

Like that is going to happen, maybe the parents should be made to pay. Perhaps then they would teach thes morons some common sense.

Dunno Slinky but something happened at the bottom of Willows Lane round about that time tonight. Traffic couldn't get through. Busman was on his way home and had to divert.

Saw a police car sirens blasting going along blackburn road. Saw a pile of kids on broadway and one acting like a lookout looking down union st - he was on a bike as well. His mates were heading up the other way.

I was in the Hyndburn Community & Voluntary Resource building this morning and I think they were also experiencing problems. Some young people had come in and broken the fire alarms.

Re: Numpties new sport.

According to the telegraph the police have CCTV of the culprits. So let's hope they can soon put and end to the idiots delight!

Lampman 22-09-2007 12:55

Re: Numpties new sport.

Just to update on this the Telegraph showed a photo of two of the suspects, from one of the incidents, anyone knowing the kids would regognise them.
The Observer showed another photo of a later incident,it was that blurred I think they'd have trouble recognising themselves!
However it was also reported that two of the culprits have been identified and Police and a £40 fine will be on the way to them.
Well it's a result!

BERNADETTE 22-09-2007 13:01

Re: Numpties new sport.

I saw the picture in the Observer and thought the same as you, the chances of identifying them was very slim from those clips. Glad to hear that the fines have been issued wonder if they will get paid.
