Re: Train station closed off???

It says in the Observer it was cordoned off because there had been a sexual assault there, but there were no more details as the paper was going to press.

Re: Train station closed off???

:( I wonder when that happened? I worry about my girls going off to school/college/work on their own.

Re: Train station closed off???

There was a police van parked outside the station about 8pm last night. I just assumed they were sorting out a wayward passenger.

tean males are more likeley to be attacked then females
this was on a website

WillowTheWhisp 04-10-2007 20:43

Re: Train station closed off???

I would worry about the girls if I heard of anyone being attacked, male or female. I don't have any boys to worry about but I'd probably worry about them too if I did have. I don't like being out on my own when it's dark either.

Haven't seen anything reported yet, saw police and community support officers yesterday afternoon round Cedar St though, any more info on what was happening there?

Re: Train station closed off???

Gippos are quite at home on the car park 3 motors fancy caravan and no rent or council tax time we started taking their tackle off them, you and I wouldn't get away without paying. Come on Peter get your finger out ands hift them.

grego 05-10-2007 20:07

Re: Train station closed off???

Are they on Accy station car park Ian?

BERNADETTE 05-10-2007 20:16

Re: Train station closed off???

They are on the council car park.

grego 05-10-2007 20:20

Re: Train station closed off???

Have they just turned up Bernie or have they been there a while?

BERNADETTE 05-10-2007 20:22

Re: Train station closed off???

They have been there for a few weeks, there were three or four caravans at first now just the one. They will have to move soon, the fair is due anytime now if it follows it usual trend.

grego 05-10-2007 20:26

Re: Train station closed off???

I'm surprised they've been allowed to stay.

BERNADETTE 05-10-2007 20:31

Re: Train station closed off???

Nothing suprises me anymore, it makes you really concious of your security when they are about. Mind you this house is like Fort Knox but they do make you feel vunerable.

Re: Train station closed off???

This is what the council are up agaisnt - so called 'human rights rules'
Your Rights: Rights of Gypsies and travellers: Eviction: Local Authority Evictions

BERNADETTE 05-10-2007 20:39

Re: Train station closed off???

According to that report they can be moved if they return within three months. There definetly wasn't a three month time lapse between them going last time and coming back so surely they should be able to move them with very little effort.

grego 05-10-2007 20:43

That's true, it just strikes me as wrong that the council have to keep paying for a court order every time. You would think that once one was obtained they would be able to use it more than once.

About time we took a strong arm to these low life's. Move on now or be shot! Or just take away all they have a crush them.

Where did you get this info from because nobody knows anything about it as Labour leader Graham Jones lives on that street I would have thought something would have been in the press.
