ok, whats the oldest stuff you have come across recently in your kichen cupboard .......I've just found some packets of Birds custard powder mix marked 'best before end Jan 95' ,tried using it but ended up with a wallpaper like substance

guess a clean out is required :D :D

I am safe I have regular clear outs just to be on the safe side. Worst was some pasta sauce that was 16 months out of date and I found that at easter I think. :o

I always used to buy a Christmas pud, but we never got around to eating it. When we sold the house and I had to have a massive clear out, I found ten of them, hiding in a corner!

Never noticed the dates, but I've never bought one since.

I had a massive clear out about 12 months ago. I found a tin of mushroom soup which expired in 1996 and some mincemeat for mince pies. I couldn't read the date on that because the lid of the jar had gone rusty...:o:D

Lol..... I'm hanging my head in shame.

Actually, I was laughing at your Celery Soup, I hate celery and find it hard to believe that anyone actually eats it...:D

With me it's the fridge, I daren't look at the back of that in those dark crevices beneath the mould, whatever it is it lost it's original shape years ago.

I am considering taking the bulb out because whenever I open the door and this thing sees me I'm sure it growls, even nosey parker Cat won't go near it's food if it gets placed in there!
