Is it needed?

BBC NEWS | Health | Performer gets third ear for art

He's had an ear grafted onto his arm. He's mad. Why have that done theres no purpose for it.

I suppose it might be handy if he uses ear drops... he could just walk around with his arm up instead of having to tilt his head to one side...and when listening to music he would only need one part of a headphone.
