Lar De Dars
Was walking passed Lar De Dars today and noticed a sign saying it is going to be converted into luxury apartments. Anybody heard anything about this proposal?

Not heard a thing Bernie, but I don’t really keep my nose close to the ground with local new. I get most of my info off here.:)
Seems a bit of an odd place for luxury pads. Will it not be overlooking the railway station , not to forget the proposed bus station move and new Tesco development. Hardly a luxury view. |

One of the best places I've seen with luxury flats was Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, but Accy doesn't really have anything nearly half as comparable...Cant really think of an area that one could build appartments like that.

I have even been to that place...the other half took me on a weekend down here many years ago - I got in for free cos I was over 25 ! - that got me worried straight away...then came the sticky floor/carpet...over priced drinks..1 guy trying to start a fight with me...honking fast food in that particular bit of it....welcome to accringtons premier night club !...first/last and only time I went there...
I worked in the pubs and clubs in glasgow city centre for 6 years and not one came close to that place... |

Bonnyboy..have you not seen the apartments behind Scaitcliffe House (they are LUXURY APARTMENTS) of course they are looking over the lodge..............what more could you ask??????

Forgot to say we have gone upmarket ........... there is a swan and a signet resident there at the moment so that probably puts us upmarket, must be a plus round here :mad:
