Impulse Trip
 

Well I may be crazy but I've just booked 3 days in Mallorca - leaving tomorrow afternoon. :eek:

My elder daughter rang, she'd just booked for her and her partner, and persuaded me to go too. I am still shaking, I usually like to weigh everything up for at least a week, but I'm going.

Got to go and pack! :D

There was Me,Less and Roy sat in the Stag one saturday afternoon having a few pints as you do with Roy and he was saying what can we do tomorrow me and less thought and said well its sunday we could go to a car boot or go for a look round somewhere,that was the end of it,we had yet another pint and went home.
About 1 hour later i get a phone call off Roy "have you got a passport "?er yes i said thats ok then we are all booked on the ferry tomorrow for Rotterdam get your bags packed .
what a great weekend we had and the first time i had been over seas:D

Hola! Got back earlier this evening after 3 days of lovely sunshine - arrived at Liverpool (Crap) Airport in the cold and wet and had to walk from the tarmac through a sort of long, leaky bus shelter into the abysmal building. :mad:

We stayed just outside Palma, a very nice area with a lovely beach and, being November, hardly anyone there. Beautiful daytime weather, though a bit chilly at night.

As impulses go, this was a good 'un (and yes, it is an advantage being retired as I couldn't have done it a few months ago). :)
