its the (get ready for xmas diet), im new to it, it works, you eat no junk all day, then at night to ease you off to sleep you give in to temptation, and eat what you like :D

Yeah, I see what you mean. Over here guys like that usually end up selling used cars or insurance.:D But can someone give me a brief run down of "Children in Need"? :confused: I get the drift that it some kind of national rather than local event.

yes it is national. It's a fund raising event for ... well ' Children in need '

Joe public do silly things to raise money!! or you can ring in on the night and donate.

Thanx ... sounds like a great idea. All the stuff we do for kids in need seems to be done locally. In Kingston the Salvation Army gives out free turkeys and one can do things like donate snow suits to needy kids. I like the idea of a national event. One of the things that troubles a lot of Canadians is the persistence of child poverty in a country which is so well off.

Victoria used to be quite cute but now – well I’ve seen more meat on a bone for the dog.

In fact she would not be out of place in a Lowry painting.
