So a thread that I didn't want that is created, has the suggestion of Nepotism has it?

Well let me tell you something, if there was any nepotism about it would not have been moved in the first place.

If I wanted to be involved in nepotism then way back when this site was first started I would have accepted the position of moderator when it was offered to me.

Instead I said that I would rather sign on as an ordinary member as one member of the family being in overall charge is enough for any site to handle.

If you read the thread that has been started on my behalf!!!!! you will see that I don't want anything more to do with it, I would rather he had completely removed my posts, then that would have been an end to it.

As it was he moved the posts to their own thread even though there hadn't even been any complaints, Hardly shows me in a position of advantage does it?

There used to be other members of my family that would post on a regular basis and they like myself have had the 'Oh well special treatment', routine splashed at them as well, (splashed rather than thrown, because once rumours like this start the sh!t sticks!), until they no longer bother to post on here.

I suppose I should have started this with some sort of poll, or a little tick box "anyone that thinks members of the Administrators family should be banned from posting on accyweb please tick here", (don't worry for those of you that don't know what a tick is I'd have pre-filled the box for you).

Now then Less I noticed that you stated that the post had been made into a thread and that you also stated that you didn't like it being done that way and as you had been worried at what could (and did) happen you got lamponed with a statement that has been taken out of context

Having been away, haven't the foggiest idea what brought this on, however you can never be accused of nepotism.

In all the threads you've posted in, I can never once remember you saying 'I'm the celebrity father of this site's owner, get me out of here.' :D

Well i dont even know what nepotism is so i aint got a clue what you talking about! lol a bit thik me!

For it to have been nepotism Less would have to be related to Len (unless he is and I've missed something) because it was Len that moved it. I can't see why he moved it because in situ it would merely have remained as a little blimp of a thread wander before the subject got back on track again. I suppose I'm now risking life banishment from the site for having questioned the actions of a moderator but the idea that Less benefits from nepotism is just plain silly.

Now just get back to being your grumpy old self Less and tell us more about your cat.

dont worry Less, aint your fault if some put there own slant on what is actually written, take things out of context, it can be a buggar sometimes the written word.:rolleyes: as i have discovered to my cost:D

I really don’t see why the “spin off” thread was created. The death of a pet is upsetting but there are far worse things happen.

As for the nepotism line, as stated, it was suggested but dismissed. I am guilty of being mischievous by including it in my post. If that has offended Less or anyone else on the site, then I apologise wholeheartedly.

Must admit I have never seen Less use the fact that he is Roy's dad in any way...........and for the life of me can't see any advantage he would have...just keep posting Less, always get a laugh from them :D :D

nepotism means showing favouritism to relatives.. like saying that someone cant be banned because they are related to a mod, even if they are in the wrong...

thats not me having a go at anyone, just the only example i could think of........
