disgusting!

a new 'sport' thats hapening in my mums area is too stamp on cats tails and hold them down by thier tails while a big dog 'plays' with them... there are a lot of cats going missing or coming back in a really bad state.. my brothers cat came home the other day covered in blood( not all of it his) and now he is having a lot of bother with his tail..... how can anyone do this? it is disgusting.....

my brothers cat is 15 years old and very ill, he is very very lucky he managed to get away, he has changed alot since this and i doubt he will last much longer...he didnt attack me for some chicken at all on christmas day ( he always goes for me when i have chicken, he knows i dont like it and he has a better chance with me! lol)

That is absolutely appalling. I hope the perpetrators are caught and punished. What can possibly go on inside the head of someone who can do that?

It's a disgrace - a few years ago someone tied a firework to one of my nan's cats - he was in a terrible state, lost most of his teeth and dislocated his leg. Hope you brother's cat recovers.

I have twice seen this kind of abuse, and neither local nor recent, 2 youths dropped a cat off a very high bridge into a very shallow river, (Bury, 20 odd years ago), and a 19 year old swinging a cat around his head by it's tail, (Rawtenstall, 5 years ago), I am not necessarily a cat lover, but I would have to post this in over 18 to describe my response to both, safe to say, none of the parties will do it again, and if I did the same now, I would have the police round to me no doubt.
