Getting on a bit?

I just came across a new Rambo film to be released in 2008. Good on Sylvester Stallone for keeping in shape and everything, but he's kinda killing the image of Rambo in my opinion by doing this, dont you think? And I think he was close to making the newest Rocky look a bit silly.

Anyone think of anyone else think he should just throw in the towel now? Maybe he could become a mayor or whatever like Arnie? (Though I personally think Arnie still has it :o )

Maybe Stallone should just hang up his boots. There are other roles about, just don’t think he has the ability to fulfil any other type of acting role. As for any other type of work… who knows, he doesn’t come across as being all that bright. I’m aware that is not answering your question, not sure who else is “too long in the tooth” to act.

I haven't watched the new Rocky yet but think he's too old to be believable really, loved both the Rocky and Rambo films in the 80's, will reserve judgement till I've seen them though struggle with the concept of an ageing Rambo.

I added an extra word into the sentence accidently, you tend to do that when you can't sleep and you are working all day and night on assignments

Unless he is playing the role of someone who is past it but still wants to be a boxer?

Look at films like 'Tough Guys' with Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas - brilliant.

What about Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter, surely he has outgrown this role by now

Harry Potter grew up at the same time though, also he's not trying to be an action hero:p
