I was thinking the same thing myself. I wouldn't have known him if he'd come up to me and shouted 'Boo!'

Really winds me up does that. Don'tt care who people are or for what reason people park in a disabled spot, they shouldn't unless they have a badge. Once went out from work and couldn't get a disabled spot because some idiots had parked in the places with out displaying a badge, so we parked our car across theirs blocking them in. Went a sat on a bench nearby whilst another collegue went to find a traffic warden. She found a traffic warden who promptly ticketed a couple of cars. Got asked afterwards did i feel guilty the answer was NO. I would do it again.

Now then, Margaret, you wouldn't have said that if it was Bert Scott! ;)

Who's Bert Scott ?... :D (I didn't know the other guy either Margaret)

I sometimes say Hi to people that work in shops like M & S, then realise don't really know them personally ... suppose they are used to this.

Go on, tell her, Margaret.

Bert Scott was a Stanley winger whom I had a crush on at the tender age of 12 :o

Re: Familiar Face

Actually, Kate, you may well know him as a familiar face, as he had a window cleaning round in town, after he retired from football...a fate which is unlikely to befall Mr Gerrard!
