It isn't awful. but the narrow road with grass verges arn't wide enough, with some people having 2 or more vehicles, and not using the drives at the back (those that have them), we have people double parking, literally blocking the street, when they do this, they drive over the verge, and ruin the grass, then at the end of the street there are 2 people running businesses, they have several vehicles and have completely desimated the grass and footpath, my front and side is dug out ready for block paving, but they want £1000 to drop the kerb, problem is, when the school have parents evening I know the ignorant parents will block the street up, at present when these evenings are on, they park outside the house, across the tarmac footpath (across the verge), so I usually can't get outside the house, and the other half has to park in the road and walk the kids through the muddy verges, in my opinion, the verges need removing thus allowing a wider road. Sorry, rant over.
