If it was true it would frighten me, i'm not overly keen on clowns, but what is far, far worse for me are porcelain dolls!! They scare me to death!! The just stare!!!!!!

I have even seen wooden African masks hung on lounge walls - if people realised what they were displaying they wouldn't sleep nights :eek:

there was a programme on about those dolls a couple of weeks ago, people actually treat them like there own babies, they buy them prams and take them out for walks, we are talking grown women here, not kids, one woman travelled to the us to buy one, she even bought it a new pram and clothes to wear for its journey home, NOW THATS FREAKY...an oldish lady gave a woman who made them a picture of her grandson from when he was a baby, and this woman made the doll look exactly the same as her grandson...a bit odd if you ask me

I think the dolls themselves are amazingly crafted but what I find an issue is the fact mother who have lost their babies buy these dolls custom made to look like their dead babies and walk around cradling a cold, hard doll.
They aren't properly letting go and mourning their loss, and the manufactuers are creating psychological problems for such women. |
