Paris Hilton says Britney Spears is "great mother" and people should let the pop star "live her life".
In a TV interview aired in the US on Tuesday night, Hilton said: "She's a very sweet girl and I love her to death."
"I wish the best for her and I just wish everyone would leave her alone so she could live her life," the 26-year-old hotel heiress-actress told the television programme E! News.
"She's a great mother and a great girl and I really care about her." Hilton and Spears were nearly inseparable following the pop star's split from ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Britney did an interview with OK magazine and came across as a good mother. She comes across as a bad parent because of the media. Britney was photographed leaving talks with K-fed over the children, so she is attending something to try sort out arrangements.

I believe she is a good mother but I think her best option is to go somewhere peacefully for a while and get her act together, be it an institute or just somewhere away from the paparrazi. They aren't helping matters at all.

People go on about how they should take her kids off her because of the drug allegations but I dont see anyone giving kerry katona that much grief over the allegations against her, and I think the only difference is that Britney was portrayed as perfect when she first came onto our screens and now everyone is loving watching her fall time and time again.

I think its depressing and I dont want to see anything else bad happen to her, whether its caused by her own actions or not. Why dont they just leave the poor girl alone?
