Both are blown way out of proportion as well to make news. Theres only so much you can say about Princess Diana and they're not going to get a good response from muslims now who are no doubt going to be offended.

I hope muslim people dont give them the reaction they want.

I've only ever met one 'extreme' muslim and he was all talk. By the end of college he said he didnt really think that way. He upset a few westernised muslim girls for dressing like english girls though, but they always covered up apart from showing their arms.
Wouldn't class criticising the way someone dresses extreme though because everybody does that. He made the odd joke about taking the train to london and not returning though. Quite amusing really. I like it how people can look at the humourous side of stereotypes.

has he actually said the literature has been written by extremists OR the literature he has seen causes people to act as extremists?

they are two different things

maybe what he saw was a more westernised approach to the religion and that was caused people to take extreme measures feeling that they had to keep the faith strong?

that would be frowned upon i guess - or am i just being optimistic i remember how some people jumped the gun with the "muslim not touching bible" headline

i like to think the best of people lol!

Depends how they react? Any faith would have an uproar if that article had been about them.

extremists are a minority, and a very small one at that. That newspaper prints a load of crap and it reported having financial problems not so long back and they admitted thats why they print about diana all the time, because it sells to a particular group of fans.
