yes BOB we have discussed this on many times and the 28dayslater site is one me and mrjdallen frequently look at.

Thats an old thred, there are more on there relating to Accy Con Club.

I kinda know the lad who did the reports, he has registered on here, Im sure he has a lot more photographs should they ever be required.

And Ye the 28 DL is a good site been a member on there for a while now.

is that the ballroom or one of the smaller rooms... used to work there in the 70's such a shame to see it like this and very sad:

It's a disgrace that such a fine building has been allowed to rot like this ; what can we do? Who owns it now ?

Probably somebody who wants to redevelop it. There's more chance of getting planning permission if it's dilapidated.

i was confused with the "accy con" but have since realised it is what i know as churchills (am only a young un really lol) its nothing like what i remember it, i used to frequent it often in my late teens, its such a waste of a lovely building but there are so many buildings in and around accrington in a similar state that it really is a shame, so much potential for them just nothing ever done
